Fang Lair master writs....why?

Three days in a row now I've gotten a master writ that is Fang Lair style. This motif is not yet available in game, so why the hell am I getting the master writs?

No, but asking them to release the motifs at the same time as they release the new writs isn't asking for too much either.

Ah yes, my bad, clearly the only sensible thing to do at this point would be to complain about it on the forums.

I don't disagree that it would have made more sense to release the writs at the same time as the motif but it so minor that the thought of coming to the forums to complain about it never crossed my mind.

ya, it pisses me off too. I accepted one worth 80+ in WW, now i can't do other WW writs unless i drop that one. This is BS zos, even for you guys. Nice coders you got there, monkeys?

My addon didn’t pick this up to show I couldn’t craft it and accepted a190 writ needing FL chests

Yea, I'm beginning to think they nerfed the drop rate again. I have hardly gotten any wood, metal cloth mater writs in over a month. Less than half I was getting before

Yet in comparison, I get at least 2Xs the Woodworking MWs as all others combined, and haven’t seen a decline in the drop rate. However, I haven’t seen a MW worth more than 5 or 6 in at least a month.

Dont you virtue signallers ever get tired of acting holier than thou? The crap is bugged. The user posted about it on the forums because no one has seen a word from the dev team about it.

Writs are a big deal. When they dont and cant work thats a big deal too. Not everyone only cares about brony conventions like you.

1. This isnt a coding failure.
2. It could be a QA failure. QA in theory should/would have flagged this as a fail. You cannot craft master writs that don't have an allowable motif.
3. It could also be a management executive decision.

QA LEAD - "Well, we can't do those master writs right now, because the motif chapters are bugged".
EXECUTIVE - "Well thats not a deal breaker its just a crappy bug".
CUSTOMER SERVICE - "Well that sucks. For us and the players."

I agree that this in unfortunate.
But at the same time, PC players were able to access the Summerset content 2 weeks earlier than everyone else.
So the fact that you have a FL Master writ should be looked at as a bonus. Everything you were able to do these last 2 weeks is extra time that everyone else doesn’t get to receive.

I got a reply from ZOS regarding my /bug ticket. They told me to save the motifs. So, instead of fixing the problem, their response was to say "too bad, just live with it". ...this, when the mistake was clearly on their part.

Ok, so since they brought it up. Bank space storage is a HUGE problem in this game. There isn't a fraction of the storage needed required to play this game. The only way to do it is with multiple mules and often, for many, multiple accounts so they can have enough mules to get the job done.

Then, there is the fact that vet fang lair and vet scalecaller are nearly impossible to get through without a strong group of friends that play together regularly. So it's going to be months AFTER the motifs are available that they are actually available.

This is a clear example of how ZOS customer service comes up short. If they are going to call themselves customer service, they have to make an attempt to help the customer, not just service them.

Sounds like you should be playing on PC. You'll never get the full gaming experience on a game box anyway. We are talking PC here, not game boxes. And yes, it's still a bug and a mistake on the part of ZOS to do what we are discussing in this thread. This topic has nothing to do with game boxes.

Well, I have 5 zaan heads and each came from a pug run. Each go at vet fang, it’s been the dps that screw it up at zootopia - they just can’t seem to break free of that tunnel vision habit that dps seem to get from sitting in front of a target dummy for hours on end. I think it might be like shoveling snow - dulls the mind with the monotonous action. So I suppose fang is going to be the super rare. I’ve wanted to put together a team to farm the new motifs - what do you think I should charge for the chapters? 250k? Or more on par with early buoyant armiger at 350k?
