Have crafted Psijic Lighting Globe Large and Small and they become bound after crafting - does not seem right that crafted furniture items become bound

Sounds like a bug but might not be. Have you reported it?

I don't think it should be bound.

I think they become bound because you have to quest / level up the skill like to unlock them right? almost like achievement items.

The recipes for the psijic items are, in fact, achievement items, and, as such, will create bound items when crafted. this is very much a part of the plan, as far as I can tell. You are not able to sell achievement items, and thus, you should not be able to sell items crafted from achievement-based recipes.

At least the levitating books should be not bound.

I say it is pretty similar to jewelcrafting. You need Summerset for it, but you can sell what you can craft.

Maybe the globes and furniture are to specific to the Psijics to have them to outsiders, but the books could be an exception.

Jewelry crafting isn't tied to achievements. The Psijic Furniture is the equivalent of the items you can buy from a zone's achievement furnishing merchant which are always bound. They just happen to be in recipe form.

I thought ZoS said no crafted furniture was supposed to be bound - it has happened before with a few things.

It makes sense to have the recipes bound as the crafter has to earn the recipes, but not the crafted objects. I just crafted 2 Psijic lights not realizing and had to send my own mats back to the person who asked for them. /sigh

As you complete the Psijic questline they become available on the vendor located between the Artaeum wayshrine and the Ceporah Tower.

Yup, was disappointed by this as well.

I understand that recipes are bound like any other Achivement items you buy. However, I think it would make sense to allow the items made out of those recipes marketable. We are taking about (cool) lights and chairs, not a unique item that someone who did not complete the question should not have in their house (eg: the Augur&co).

    Hope they will allow this

The Psijic Merchant has furniture plans that unlock based on your skill level in the Psijic Order skill line, similar to how other achievement furnishing merchants have furnishings that unlock based on your achievements.

The majority of the gold blueprints/designs/diagrams bought with writ vouchers from the "Achievement Mediator" require some achievement to unlock purchase but once bought those can be crafted and sold to people without the achievement.

Shouldn't be any different for Psijic - should be standard across the board.

Or people can do the achievements themselves. It takes a day, at most.
