What is going on in Vivec on PS4 NA?

I'm really at a loss here. You see blues and yellows working together, you see other members of your own faction giving away your stealth position.

I have a clip here. I put up a camp and get jumped by a blue. All good so far. You'll see a yellow come in the background and start sniping me. (Another blue jumped in too, but that's expected) They kill me...but the next part is what has me scratching my head.
They come together and burn the camp. I expected them to start fighting, but no, they don't. They run off together to team up against more reds. This isn't the first time either...this happens throughout the campaign.

What is this? I've played Vivec on the EU server as well....this is an extreme rarity over there. I've heard about it, but never saw it on the EU side. What is wrong with the NA players?

I have characters on each alliance, and I try to keep one faction to one campaign. But I don't know if I'll come back to Vivec. It's a madhouse, where the inmates are running the asylum. The more I'm trying to make sense of it, the more crazy it's becoming.

ESO PvP is already a small community. This kind of maddness isn't going to help it grow.
Someone, please, explain the mentality to me..justify this behavior. I can't even fathom what this accomplishes or how to fix it..all I know is it's beyond insane.

Edit: You'll catch the player on my "team" happily jump away with no harm done to him.
I honestly have no idea how Cyrodiil even functions with this kind of stuff going on.

The far bigger issue with Vivec and Shor both on PS4 NA is the unbalanced player pops outside of prime time. At night for a few hours you actually have semi competitive PvP. All the rest of the day you have a yellow map from 3 bars of AD in Vivec against 1 bar of DC and EP and in Shor it's the same with EP.

PvP needs dynamic population caps or there's no point in keeping score with all the faction hoppers that just overpopulate the Alliance that's winning.

That's what I don't get in this case. AD has firm control of the map at this moment. By all rights, you'd think blue would be going after yellow, not helping them.
It's mind boggling. I cannot piece it together.

Welcome to EP on the PS4. On top of working together, and I've seen it every...single...day during this campaign, players from the 2 other factions troll EPs chat.

So many times I've been fighting blue and get ganked by yellow, vice versa too.

Pretty pathetic on their part. My overall feeling is, play the way you want to play, who am I to say it's wrong? But on the other hand, why would you want to play this way if you're blue or yellow? Takes the challenge out of it and has to be boring. I have the ability to alliance hop, but have no desire to, EP all the way.

Just yesterday EP was getting double zerged (which can happen naturally in any campaign), however, blue would not attack any yellow keeps, even though yellow owned some of blue's keeps.

Whatever, nobody wants to compete anymore, they want stuff handed to them on a silver platter.

The campaigns where there is no alliance between blue and yellow (seen it a couple of campaigns since I've been back), those were the most fun and competitive campaigns I've ever played in.

I do *** like this all the time. If i run up to arrius, and blues are fighting reds, let's help the blues. If it's glade, it's the other way around. It's fun. Don't take it personal. Get wrecked tho.

Everyone gets "wrecked tho"...that's not the issue.
Why the blues help yellow when the map is dominated by yellow, why my own "teammate" gave away my position, why after tag teaming me the yellow and blues didn't start to fight eachother...it's weird as ***, and doesn't make any sense. You didn't even come with reason for it, you just came with some "bro" jive.
    Thanks for your contribution, though....

This is not even close to what I'm talking about. True story (one of a billion examples), EP was sieging Sej, business as usual right? Blue had control of the outpost, but there was a big group of yellow hiding outside that destroyed our group. While dead, not one blue or yellow attacked each other, bush league.

But I would expect this from AD and DC, they can't win a campaign unless they get help from one another.

So go back to your green team security blanket (usually a sign of no skillz) and get wrecked yo-self ;)

i run in to this a bunch outside the front door of chalman when playing EP...

thankfully the current campaign ends later today/early tomorrow...

the campaign has been over for the last 20 days or so...when that happens more and more weird *** (gameplay wise) amongst players start happening...

hopefully the new scoring mechanics will help keep campaigns more consistently balanced in terms of score, and, motivate folks to play for the alliance they're logged in on more earnestly...

I can't imagine though it'll "fix" the situation described in the original post...

Edit: just watched the vid...yeah, that kind of stuff would have put me on tilt quite a bit...

For sure, and AD wrecks everyone in weird, at least for me who works 8-5, off hour times. Someone in zone chat called the Emp in AD the 6 am emperor, which I thought was funny.

Got a great clip of a blue getting beat on by chalman (held his own, losing fight tho) that me and a few friends rescued. We then took the resource, let the blue stay and proceed to defend wave after wave. Then the zerg came. Wish i had said good bye.... he was a good blue. Maybe I'll send him a diamond ring or necklace.

Not taking it to any crazy level. I just have expectations, like not having my own faction rat out my position...I guess I'm just funny that way.
