Leaderboards Trial's rewards barely pay our pots

C'mon ZOS could you please find some sponsor for the leaderboards rewards? I mean the rewards loot table is so huge that we barely get anything nice it barely pays our pots. Could you include some reward in gold as well? Or maybe crafting materials or whatever.

they do give you crafting material silly

Undaunted Treasure should be enough if you're running multiple a week. Sell all the trash loot you get to a vendor. It's more than enough coin.

Otherwise go farm some mats like everyone else has to.

Why is there an expectation that the rewards have to cover your costs? In many other aspects of the game, the rewards don't match the effort involved and players simply choose to not do those things. Jewelry crafting is one of the most recent examples. If you don't believe that the rewards are worth the effort, why would you continue to keep going for leaderboard scores? Some might say that the leaderboard score itself can be a reward, though intangible. You don't always need a monetary compensation for the monetary investment. You need gold sinks and resource transfers for the economy to function.

Also, as mentioned above, there are plenty of ways to get the pots or the gold required for pots. It's just not going to come from the actual leaderboard reward mail.

I'd support adding alchemy satchels to both pvp and pve leader boards. Maybe even uncommonly from Rewards for the worthy. It adds less gold into the economy that just adding some undaunted plunder into the leader board rewards.

so for when then people are going for trials when going to be on leaderboard? when they can just go farm mats like everyone else

in every other good game you have good, worth rewards for endgamke with which ESO lack and ESO is not rewarding raiders enough even for just their used pots here

If you don't feel raiding is worth it why are you doing it?

You get undaunted plunder that adds up quickly if you are running multiple trials, in pure gold.
You get some really good gear. Do you really need to be handed your pots too? Just go farm for a few minutes, it's not that hard.

Oh w8 vaa weekly last week. A run is <40 min, plunders is like 20k gold if hm. That doesn’t cover pot?

Are you crafting? You need to craft for the benefits of crafting. I have mats coming out of ears from alchemy writs. I'd trade you pots for war machine jewelry, but they want us all doing everything in the game to support the other parts. The consumable writs give you more mats than you use unlike the equipment writs. After you set it up on an alt, you can do them in less than a minute plus loading time. Plus you'll have more money to supplement your favorite part of the game.

Trial runners doing multiple alchemy writs a day is no different than dungeon runners doing pvp for caltrops, pvpers doing pledges for the undaunted skills or any of us doing trials for the best gear.

Don't want to do a part of the game you don't like in order to do your favorite part? Welcome to the club called everyone.

I can say it from my perspective..as if you are in really good guild with same team without wipes then you arnt on - with potions
but if you just do trials with your friend guild, friends you dont have always same team and you dont doing every boss after just 1str try and its going to be costly

but at all even for good places on leaderboards you get nothing, how about additional rewards just for this as you cleared very well this trial, shouldnt you ahve additional reward to
persuade you to get higher on leaderboards?

like we have on cyrodil as higher place you have there is chance you will get next tier lvl rewards

In 3 hours of PVP yesterday I consumed probably 50 potions, all of which use ingredients that are expensive AF. I know that if I want to continue doing it ever so often I need to spend an hour just picking flowers. That’s the cost of doing business.

If you want to be a leaderboard player either take time out to do this or learn to reach those boards with sub par potions.

Kinda what I'm thinking? Spell power pots around 140 gold per. Weapon power about 90 per.

So, 10k gets you 53 minutes worth of spell power pots...I'm not seeing the problem here.

I'm guessing a single leaderboard run doesn't take hours and doesn't involve mutliple wipes. (If either is true, it's not a leaderboard run, it's a learning or progression run.)

IDR any trial giving < 5k worth of plunder regardless. If you're not taking the 200 ms to autoloot at least that from the boss before moving on, then you're doing it to yourself. Not like it would affect your time one bit.

My guild did 2 vAA HM runs back to back to make sure our score was going to stick- that's about 40K in plunder plus decon from the chests.

It definitely didn't cost 40K in pots or repairs.

Stop chugging Pots on cooldown maybe? Adjust your bars for buffs etc. Get the mats and craft them= free.
Many options to reduce the cost.

You seem to have forgotten the plunder and the 10k item we get for clearing HM. That is like 22-25k right there. Min 15k if HM is not done which I expect is not likely except with vMoL and later trials.
