What determines your daily quests in Summerset?

Hi guys,

what determines what daily quest is assigned to you in Summerset? I always thought daily quests were random, but I'm usually doing them with a buddy of mine and since release, we have had the same combination of world boss and delve every single day. And can we do anything to change this? It is actually pretty annoying, since it halves our achievement progression and motif drop chance and its two less quests we could have otherwise completed together. Come to think of it, when we were levelling undaunted for our alts, another two characters also shared every single of Borgul's dailies. Thank you for any input : )

The quests run through a cycle. he point in the cycle at which you start is random, but then you'll get the next quest in the queue next day, and so on.

If you both get the same quest... if you do it every day, you'll keep getting the same quest every day.


But there's a way around that.
If one of you takes the daily quest, then shares it, you can both do it. Then, the one of you who did not pick up the quest, will still be able to pick the daily, which will be the next one in the wueue. And it can be shared. So you'll be able to do 2 quests in the same day.

Of course, this doe snot work for non-shareable daily quests, like crafting writs, which also follow the same system.

Edit: For some reason I didn't see your answer before ssorgatem : ) We tried sharing the quests, but the one who accepted the share couldn't pick up new ones and next day it was the same situation again - we both got the same quests. But we will try to confuse the quest queue again, thank you for suggestion.

Yup your 2 character are stuck on the same daily cycle one of you could create/use another character only to do the daily

But i hope for yoy therse another way around
