Title... Why can't we get decent experience for completing these quests?

Can you be more specific? Or give an example? I'm just not following 100% which quests you're referring to.

as long as I remember, public delves exist only in Craglorn and no one should bother with experience they give.

Think he think of the standard delve quests like finding some stuff and deliver it to owner. they give half reward but almost no xp.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

'Hightide Hollow' has an NPC sitting outside who gave the quest for the delve. This place is located in Stonefalls... It's really sad to spend time seeing and investigating all these places, only to be rewarded with nothing(192 experience at level 21, where you need about 30k experience to level, is nothing).

Yes, please buff minor quest XP. There should be more alternatives to dolmen grinding.

Yeah but that is with pretty much all discoverable areas this way - they provide about this amount of xp you mentioned. You get a little less for bashing a single beetle at this level - so if you are after xp,it is better you just kill about 200 beetles to get the level up - this will give you most likely about 60 beetle scuddle, which are good for 20 portions of the "dubious" drink.

Delve quests aren't really worth doing. And I mean, for what you have to do its not exactly hard or time consuming. Hense the low xp.

Idk, I take my time exploring delves, and killing mobs inside for whatever quest. I like exploring all this content, but now I don't feel very motivated to do so because there's little to no reward... I feel like this could be a simple fix for the devs, just multiple the current value by 10 and then it'll be at least decent experience.. I could literally make 1920 by pulling two groups of mobs and killing them at this level, in half the time or less than what these quests require lol... I'd rather it show no experience, 192 feels like an insult...

First, that quest is not the XP for completing that delve. The boss in the delve grants the XP for the delve the first time you kill it.

Second, the little quest for each delve is really just a little quest, probably grants more than 192 xp though

Third, your character level is probably something to consider as well.

"192 experience at level 21, where you need about 30k experience to level, is nothing", also clearing a delve doesn't grant that much experience either, and it's a separate task... Both of which require time to complete, therefore, both should give an equal or close to equal reward. It makes no sense to even give experience if it's only 192/30000 for your next level!

I don't bother with delve quests, that doesn't mean that delves are worthless. I eventually take all my characters through all delves for skyshards. While I'm there I'll usually kill the delve boss as well for a little extra EXP.

I wish the delves and bosses were a little more challenging, as it stands now I just run through dropping ground DoTs as I go and everything chasing me just melts behind me. Sometimes I kill the delve boss without even realizing it.

One can have opinions of the weight each item should have concerning XP, however, the XP has been balanced similar since the game launched. Maybe some tweaks, and it has really not been an issue like you are bringing up. Again, you have the right to your opinion.

The dungeon has always been weighted heavier. Considering the quest is done while actually doing the dungeon it does not exactly take more time and as far as quests go they are the simplest quests in the game. It is also considered a minor quest, yes there are more important quests that grant more XP.

I just completed the dungeon on a lvl 33

XP @ lvl 33 to get to lvl 34 79,594

    Delve Completion - 8,374

Quest: The Truth about Spiders - 675 for merely reading one note and stepping outside to turn in the quest. Not much effort.

So the dungeon itself does actually grant much more XP. I suggest looking closer at that XP next time.

Heck, it granted me more than 10% of the XP for that level. Not shabby.

You must be at champion level or making up numbers. I just ran another one, boss kill + delve achievement/completion gave me exactly 3.4k experience at level 26(44,457 experience is require to level to 27 at this point, that means this is less than 8% of my total experience) Sounds decent, but you have to take into account all the junk mobs and the tasks given by 192 experience quests. Again same conclusion, these quests need an experience boost.

My guess is, ZOS has scaled these similar to exploration "point of interest" - it is more kind of an "I was there" bonus where you give proof by turning in a quite simple quest and get that location marked on your map as completed, just by turning this quest in, even you might not have done all what can be done at that location yet. With "hightide Hollow" it was for me like that. I discovered it at a quite unfortunate time, when many did it, got my quest from the quest giver, went into the delve and pretty much all in it was dead already, just too many doing it and people just running in and out of it - I still did something, which enabled me to turn in the quest and now it is marked as if I would have completed this location and I have seen like nothing from what it could eventually offer, because all what I have seen were corpses and people running in and out of it.

And so it had low XP of course - because what might be there to gain more XP did not respawn yet or was still dead on the ground. That is why I do such things now at a time, where not that many play - quests with no enemies are not fun to do.
