cannot connect to game server

i log in to game. get to character select. get to loading page with the zone i am in (stormhaveen), then right before i am able to play, goes all the way back to log in page with message the client cannot connect to the game server. please check that you have internet connection, which i obviously do. been trying for an hour now. sometimes it goes back to login before character load saying an error has occurred please try to log in later.
