Undo Button

I always use the PTS to make new characters...got one I liked and realized I hadn't changed to Summerset template. Did so and it completely reset character's face and, of course, I hadn't taken screenshots yet of her sliders. If there's a reason that switching the template in the upper corner needs to reset all the sliders, there really needs to be a bloody undo button. I mean, there should be one anyway.

The reason is, because it does. It is the PTS and not part of the PTS that needs to be perfect.

Man, I spend like thirty seconds on character creation for the PTS. The one thing that is legitimately annoying is, when you activate the template, it rolls a new race and class. I was going to test a sorc the other day, and on login discovered I"d accidentally made a nightblade.

I use PTS to create new characters before I make them on live...because if I don't like them, I can spend 1 crown to buy a face change token to alter them and can do so as many times as I need to until I am happy with them in game.

And @idk you realize there's not an undo button on live either?

Now it is not clear what you are speaking of.

It seemed at first if you forgot to choose a template before setting up the character's appearance on PTS the character would change appearance after choosing the correct template.

There is no such feature on live so this conversation would seem irrelevant unless you are leaving out some detail what you mean by an undo button and how it relates to the issue you describe for the template.

There is not an undo button in the character creation screen. If you make a change to your character, you cannot go back to what you had previously, other than remembering and moving the option back manually. Regardless of live or PTS, there is no option for this. There should be. (especially because the triangle selections are not clicks so much as free-drag so it's hard to get them back in the right spot unless you're using absolutes)

The fact that I was on the PTS did not create the issue in and of itself. Not having an undo button has, imo, always been an issue and was compounded by the fact that setting a template character on PTS reset the character entirely which I was not aware would happen (I figured it was like changing class).

The entire character creation, both live and PTS, should have a ctrl+z function to undo changes made.

I have an unused appearance change token, I use it to go into each of my characters and play around with them once in a while to see what changes I would like to make in the future. Then when I'm done, I just hit Back so it doesn't consume the token so I can do it again the next time around I want to fiddle around and take notes on the cursors.
