Grouping up for dungeons with a friend.

There is something wrong when you group up for dungeons with a friend (while healer + tank). I pick the tank role, my friend picks the healer role. We'll sign up for a dungeon and immediately get a dungeon to sign up for. Now we'll spend the next 20 seconds having someone decline (for me it says healer, for my friend it says the tank didn't sign up). There is no wait time, we'll get 5-6 different groups that decline the second we both click. After 20 seconds of this (often 10-12 declines), one of us won't get a notification for the next sign up and we get thrown out of queue. This does not happen if one of us sign up as a DPS, and when we sign up for healer/tank, we only sign up for one role. It can take up to three minutes (and over 50 declines) before we finally get put into a dungeon. I've only started noticing this once my friend changed to healing.

This is from healers point of view.

1. Healer clicks accept
2. Both DPS have signed up
3. I sign up as tank
4. Someone has declined

This can happen as quickly as 10-12 consecutive declines in 20 seconds. It's always when one of us accept, that we'll get a decline, and it often happens within less than a second from one of us clicking.

Reverb

This has been happening for almost a year. Over and over "someone declined invite, you have been placed at the front of the queue", even when you can confirm that no one declined. They even had a big event with rewards for using the queue, which most people were unable to get for the first few days because it was so broken. Zeni's emergency patch to address it made it better, but did not fix it fully (as you've seen, and as we've been telling them ever since).

Not only have they never circled back to actually fix the queue bug, they backpedaled on a promise to give recompense to everyone who was shut out of the event rewards for days due to their negligent coding. After several months Zeni came back and said it was "too complicated" to deliver retroactive rewards and that they were working on a new event instead.
