Crown Crates

Just bought 5 crown crates and the only things I received that could be perceived as useful were 3 emotes, one of which I already had and the others didn't want.
The rest of the crates consisted of poisons and different named restoration drinks. The conversion rate to gems sucks too !

1500 crowns for a load of tat ! It's the first time I have bought crates and I guess a fool and its money are soon parted.

Am I unlucky or are crates a rip off ?

it's generally unlikely to get something good in a batch of 5 crates; i think that, at least, can safely be said.

They're a rip off. The good thing is you can now learn from your mistake. I'm all for supporting a game I love playing by buying things I want from the crown store but I'm not paying for a chance to get the things I want.

ZOS gives you 3 each 3 months
You don't havr to buy them if you want.

They're extremely poor value. I only ever get crates from when they give them through events, because they're not worth spending money on.

I would like to see to see less potion in Crown Crates. I buy the 1500 crown package and it seems like out of every for cards at least 2-3 are potions. while it is true I do get some good things but I have to buy 5 crate to get anything I don't already have.
it would be nice if out of 5 creates I would at least get a new mount or motif.
and also instead of automatically exchanging repeated items we should be given a chance to gift it to friend.

Crown crates are gambling for cosmetics. Don't spend money that's not part of your entertainment budget, just like any other form of gambling.
