Never. You are dealing with a company that just does not care about anything except shatting out content. Thats it. You can play 10 other games that run amazing but this game never will. And every time they do this it just gets worse and never recovers because they dont care. This games performance has been on a downward spiral since one tamriel. Maybe even before. Terrible terrible terrible.

@ZOS_GinaBruno is this healthy? for game performance to never get better, to literally always get worse with every update?

I would rather skip some DLCs and focus on some performance, balance and QoL improvements. Honestly who care if we miss 2 dungeons and 1 trial 1 year if they can finally patch the game properly. Oh I know the investors care and they are probably pushing them to release content to make money.

You hit the nail right on the head there. Everyone is bashing ZOS for the current state of the game but at the end of the day, those are real people like you and me who need to be paid for the job they do. A patch improving performance, fixing bugs, providing QoL improvements doesn't bring in the same amount of money as excessively advertised new content, which can bring in new players or tips the old players into getting back into the game.

Old players leaving will always tend to be less than new players coming in. A new player is also more likely to spend real money in crown store, than one who's already got most of the stuff.

Keeping players in a game that's buy to play and not subscription based isn't a priority in this business model. It's attracting the news players that keeps the money rolling in. Sad reality but a reality nonetheless that it's better to bring 100 news players that will play a month and give up, than keep 10 players sticking by the game since release.

I understand this business model but be honest the more content we get the more bugged the game gets and the performance is getting worse than better. Get a small team, work on the game engine, net code, game code whatever but put something to the table even if it takes them a year to properly develop something. (I know they have a team for these, get more people then)

I came from an other MMO which I played for many many years and was expecting that newer game will be different bug and performance wise. Don't get me wrong ESO is a damn impressive game with massive amount of content but as I said we are heading the direction where the content break the game and collapse.

Money wise I don't think they have any problem yet but should actually invest some to get the game fixed. Skip some DLCs please and fix some things properly.

In pve gotten so bad lag, freezes crashes resets its unplayable really annoyed FIX IT .....

It makes me chuckle how you barely see a single stamina weapon or skill being used there. I was one of those (foolish) people who used a two-hander back then.

Whereas today I got multiple repeated loading screens just traversing the middle of nowhere north of Cloud Ruler Temple where I'm quite sure no other player was anywhere even remotely nearby.

There's a bunch of broken, impossible to progress quests too. Been waiting literally days to progress on one quest and no word back about it at all.
Some maintenance so people can actually play the game they're paying for would be stellar.
