I am an avid farmer/gatherer it would be nice to have a devoted forum for this activity. Folks could share tips, advice and strategies.

✭✭✭✭✭I'm not sure there needs to be a full forum for running around and picking up nodes.
Here's the advice I've got:
Starter zones have high node density because they have the same number of nodes in a much smaller zone.
Don't cherrypick the nodes and chests. Its rude and you pass up stuff that's pretty good to sell in bulk.
Keen Eye Passives are fantastic.
Speed gear is nice on a farmer. I like Darkstride/Cowards Gear because I can run really fast for a long time and still have stamina to fight mobs when I stop.2
