weapon choice for summerset

I need some help deciding what to run. in summerset, as a console player I would like someone from pc to assist please.
I currently play magplar dw/ s+b

Don't use dualwield.
The only reason for using 2h is if you are using forward momentum if not there is no reason to go for 2h.
since 2 handed weapons no count as two pieces dualwield has lost most of its benefits.
when it comes to raw damage staves(of any kind even restostaff) outperform dualwield, since a few patches now. The added damage from your light attacks outperformed the additional stats you gained from using dualwield.
and then destro staves have way better passives like 8% on either Aoe or ST. a 100% higher chance to apply a status effect (minor main, minor vulnerability, burning), etc.

There are still pretty good reasons to use S+b due to the passives you get for blocking, the additional magicka enchant and the ultimate.
Aside from that the only reason you ever want to use a stamina weapon on a magicka char is that you want to have a weapon that you can use for heavy attacks in order to gain stamina back.
(Overload users may want to use dual wield, this is the only exception that comes to my mind)

Best offensive weapon is without a doubt the destro staff, folowed by the resto staff
best defensive weapon: is more or less preference you can choose between three: 2h (forward momentum), resto staff (ulti + good passives and abilities to use) or SnB (block passives + ultimate)
