Relics of summerset bug

After falling down a few dozends cliffs to collet all relics, the mirror of fatal premonition doesn't get registered as complete despite being placed in it's trophy case.
The rest of the items worked fine in that archive room.

Okay...i went back to it's summerset location and found it again.

I tried to place it again and this time it worked...

I got the quest ..book etc. But the quest was not in my journal...got all the relics placed them. Np acts like I never put them in cases. Tried to start quest 2 other characters.. said I got it quest.. still not in journal.

How did you get the quest if it wasn't in your journal? Are you looking in your actual quest journal or going by the map where it also has a quest list? The map quest list doesn't list several quests that don't have a specific location on the world map, like later stages of the maelstrom arena quest.

Also, that first quest that starts you on the relic hunt is actually turned in right away in that room by talking to NPCs. The rest is you just using the book info and collecting everything on your own without direction. You will not have the quest during that time.

This is late into this thread, but I started the quest with Relicmaster Glenadir, collected the Psijic Codex Transcription book, collected all relics, returned to Artaeum, placed all relics, and went back to Relicmaster Glenadir, whose dialogue was the same as when I was setting out: "Now that you're all set for the journey, feel free to ask me any questions you'd like..." as though I'd never left.

I went back around the room and found two cases in which I had placed relics that now show no relics inside and are not lit, even though it provides the information on the relic. Just to clarify: these two display boxes did receive the correct relics that I collected, and started out with the blue glow, which went away after placing relic. That is expected behavior.

Any thoughts?

This kind of sounds similar to the bug with the museum in Orsinium that only got fixed fairly recently.
