What are my options here? Should I make a new toon and not put any CP? Everything just dies too quickly.

✭✭✭✭✭Your call how you do that. New character without CP and no gear except a weapon. You will be fine. That is the only way you will get some challenge with main story line content outside of an instance in any major MMO.
