Hybrid Builds

Hello,

Are there any builds that are both effective at Tanking and DD? I have at least one character for each class, with the exception of a Nightblade and Warden, at the moment.

I have seen good results with a Warden but I am interested to know about the other classes as well.

If you're talking about pvp, then tanky but also high dmg specs have been the meta for ages now. Glass canon builds just aren't competitive in 1v1s or openworld pvp.

Stamina Warden actually excells at this kind of gameplay. They have some of the strongest defensive mechanics as well as huge burst through sub assault. Just bang on 2 bloodspawn, 5 seventh legion, 5 ravager with 1hs/2h or some generic heavy armour spec and you're good to go.

As for nightblades, stamina doesn't need to be very tanky since have great mobility with cloak and snare removal and avoid a lot of incoming dmg anyways. That being said, heavy armour stamblades are mean in duels and sure can be fun in openworld pvp. Magicka nightblades should stick to light but you can make them a lot more tanky running wizard's riposte and transmutation and speccing heavily into healing over time (with an argonian), while retaining awesome burst through skoria gor example.
