I cannot break the Braeborne curse.

I examine the Daedric ward at the falls and it disappears but the two quest choices remain and the "break the braeborne curse is still one of the two choices.
The Quest objective remains unchanged. After a short time, the daedric ward stone reappears in the stream and I examine it again. I have repeated this several times.

✭✭✭✭I had that issue recently, but I figured out what I had to do. When you break the ward, stay where you are and you'll see a daedra. Attack the daedra from where you are, and then just kill it.
