Quest Line, The Dreaming Cave

All the way through the Spiral Skein, have rescued Darien and now need to talk to Valsirenn. Quest marker shows her location but she is nowhere to be found that I can see or contact. Have tried relogging, reloading UI, leaving the area and running back through. Would like to finish this quest, please advise. Thanks

Went through a 3rd time, the quest had enough time to reset. Apparently Valsirenn can get stuck when going through the little portals you create. Worked this time.

Hi, I have the same issue right now.
Did you completely redo the quest? or did you relog a few times?



Edit: I abandoned the quest and did it completely over. When going through the whirlpool i made sure Val was behind me and waited for her when i came out. I think my mistake was rushing ahead, which causes her dialogue not to happen

I died during the last fight right before rescuing Darien and she vanished and would not come back, so it's not just going too fast through portals because she was with me until then. Severely displeased that I have to do all that over again.

Rittings

I think the entire "dreaming cave" in each of the quests can bug out with quest givers. I've had them disappear on me several times, for several different reasons and had to abandon quests and start over - and they are NOT short quests either!
