Bound armaments work on werewolf?

Now that bound armaments gives its bonuses when slotted, I was wondering if it still gave the bonus in werewolf.
You still can't ACTIVATE the ability in werewolf form but you can still slot it (I think?)
Can anyone on PC answer this pls?

I get that, I just do not understand what op thinks they changed about the skill, that it would magically carry over to werewolf form without changing how wolf ulti works.Xbox One Na0
