Greetings,
Since the patch i've been seeing temperatures on my 4790k Spike even stay at 70+ degrees constantly. Why is this bothering me? Normally IF and I do stress IF you're running AAA games on max settings this is usually reasonable. "usually".
However prior too the patch I was well below 60 in the 55 degree range a jump in 20 degrees is not encouraging. I also should note that other AAA games are not causing these spikes even PUBG as unoptimised as it is doesn't see anything above 62 degrees. Not Battlefield and not anything else.
I am also aware that the 4790k is not the most up to date CPU considering the current gen of intel CPUs but in no other game do I have these temp spikes or even flat 70+.
I would like too know if others are having the same issues (those who pay attention at least) and Id like too know why this is all of a sudden happening....even with the addition of multi thread support this increase in tempreture is unwarranted and so something is unnessasarily pushing the CPU too hard likely to do with the reworked hero engine and the multi thread support in tandem if I were too guess.
Furthermore this update was supposed too increase preformance not decrease it, ive never seen a game in recent memory chunk this hard on a CPU on a single update without any gains at all only negatives. This is bad really bad.
Any devs or mods got any comment on this as well?
And no this is nothing to do with my CPU. as it was totally fine before I started playing post-summerset patch and its ONLY in ESO that this happens no other game.
