IT used to be a year ago when magsorcs were the FOTM but atm for this patch its nightblades at least mag, but some theorycrafters like Gilliam said that mDK maybe will pull higher then stamNBs this patch but that still needs testing in trials where melee can work without much movement

This whole DPS race *** needs to stop, I got kicked from a vet dungeon as my DPS apparently sucks ...

Now I won't disagree with that statement I have arthritis in my hands my fingers will occasionally lock up and my rotation fails 3 minutes of doing light weaving and my hands hurt so much it's too painful to play but I have done this content before ... And with people doing similar or less DPS than me ... How ... We learned the mechanics and yes often we get to enrage state on bosses but with somlittle health we could finish it

But now no one is learning mechanics they're just trying to nuke the boss in seconds removing all fun from the game for players like me

Worse ZoS seem to be encouraging this mentality and it's it's just not fun ...

Alot of changes this patch seem to be to help increase that damage race but also make it harder for those of us with disabling illnesses

Listen to the people they are telling you the truth. Sorc is easy mode dps and survivability. Magblade requires a learning curve. Your not just going to melt faces and if you have carpel tunnel in your hands it is not for you lolz.

If it hurts you to play the game, I recommend not playing the game..... either way it’s not fair to hate because it’s tough for you to hold a controller (an issue completely out of the realm of in-game balancing). While I’m sorry to hear about illness/etc getting in the way of gameplay, it’s not ZOS’s fault or something they should balance around.

However if you do continue to play, I highly recommend playing a class (probably Mag Sorc) that can pull high DPS with a Heavy Attack rotation that shouldn’t stress out your hands. Pet Sorc is especially good at this and also viable in trials, though you won’t be pushing leaderboard score runs this way ofc.

Sorcs pull 20K more than NBs ? lol. NBs are top dogs in dps atleast 10K more for non pet builds. Even pets sorcs pull a significantly less than NBs. Dont waste thread spaces by putting false information. ZOs will take opinion only from pro neutral players , before fixing anything . No one will take this post serious.

I dont have much expierence with NB or Dps sorcs but i can say this as a tank sorc who manages 20k shields and 30k health, a sorc barely scratches my health but a NB will legit shred my current tank build. Plus havent sorcs already recieved substantial nerfs? Last part might be wrong but saying sorc dps needs a debuff and NB dps needs a buff is pure insanity.

This is why we will never have perceived balance, because apparently, there is still a large portion of the player base that thinks Sorcs are 20k ahead of the rest of the pack. Of course, its not true (not even close to true), but it does make a productive conversation rather difficult to have.

Why hasn't this thread been closed yet? OP made an honest mistake based on outdated information and now this is turning into a class balance flame war.
