Changing role on your same character question

Hey! I am a lv50 DK tank with my endgame gear set already achieved, and it has been like that for months. My question is, imagine that Sometimes I want to do some PvP in battlegrounds or cyrodill and I already got my needed gear set for that, but How do people manage this with just one character as you probably have to change stats, CP etc? you change them paying for that 1h of pvp time then pay back to return to your main tank pve set up? The problem is worse when you want to be pve tank but pvp dps... I dont like having alts so maybe I would have to stick to just pve or pvp in the game and inside of that just to one role?

You can play both the non-cp campaign and battlegrounds without changing you cp points, as neither use them.

You might have to change your attribute points each time, but it’ll be cheaper than changing both.

Alternatively, you could try making a PVP build around the stats you have and see how it goes (i.e. a lot of PVP builds use tri-glyphs. If you have all your stats in health, perhaps you can make up some of that ‘missing’ Stamina by using Stamina and Magicka glyphs instead, and/or a change in the food/drink you use). Whilst as a dps you might not have the most optimal build and do less damage than you otherwise would, a lot of the skill in PVP is knowing your build and using what you have to it’s best ability, and reading the fight. So your own abilities can often make up for any shortfall in equipment/stats.
