Request to fix vampire racial iris (NOT asking to get rid of vamp coloring)

It really bugs me that my mer and argonian vampires have small human-shaped irises now. That does not come off as a vampiric change, it comes off as lazy skinning. Could we PLEASE have someone go and fix that so our base species' iris shape does not change when we become vampires? I actually like the visible change to vampire traits, but I think the iris shape thing was an oversight.

I absolutely agree here. Just because a character becomes a vampire doesn't mean they should suddenly look like humans in regards to their eyes. The elven eyes look so nicely distinct in this game, it's a shame to loose this uniqueness. Please let non-human/non-khajiit vampires have appropriate eyes for their race!

I agree 100% I actually believe Its the intended look though, not sure but I think I remember at least Argonians being human like that in skyrim se when that launched, I don't know about oldrim because I haven't played without mods for so long.

I believe skinning is only something you do when making normal maps, I dont think they dictate the Irish shape in this instance. Note that I'm no "texture technician" or whatever you would call it.

If they tell us an in-lore reason for the irises to change shape, I'll accept that, but as there is no mention of it (and that's kind of a major thing, changing the whole racial look of the eye instead of just the color) I can't see it as intentional.

The only reason I rolled a bosmer is because I planned to make her a vampire and vampirism gives her normal eyes. I can't stand the bug eyes on altmer and bosmer, so I'd be pretty unhappy with my character's look drastically changing due to a "fix" four years later.

But bosmer are adorable without human irises...

They are mer tho, they are not supposed to look human
