Werewolves- why do most builds use dual wield axes?

Like the title says, why do WW builds usually run dual axes? Also, what do you run on your back bar when not in WW?

Bleed builds. Back bar is usually bow, sometimes 2h.

    First of all:
No weapon-passives are active in werewolf form. So the passive bleed from using axes will never proc in WW-form.

    2nd of all:
The main reason is that it gives you access to use two enchantments. The reason you´re using axes is to be able to put some pressure in human form.

That's what I thought but I've seen so many dedicated WW players say they're stacking axe bleeds with WW attacks. Glad I wasn't crazy. I'm trying for a stamblade WW but all my past WW builds have been so squishy in form.

Well you can stack them, since they´re all different bleeds. You can apply all non-werewolf bleeds in human form, transform and then apply the werewolf light attack bleed.

For the same reason many stamina builds in general run dual axes. Them bleeds.

That makes sense but I think a lot of people believe their axe bleeds proc in WW form.
