- Solo Skyreach grind no longer possible?

Just started playing again for first time since Morrowind patch and went to skyreach to grind some cp but it appears you can't reset it if solo anymore?
i realize you can do it in a party, but when did they change this? i used to solo grind all my cp there.

PS- any suggestions for the best solo cp grind now? thanks.

I've seen several people in Craglorn zone chat just group up long enough to reset it, then drop group and solo it again.

Spellscar is a good farming locale, but lots of people know that one so it might be a touch crowded.

Have you tried logging out and logging back in?

Solo grinding was never optimal in Skyreach ... accumulating XP in a pair was always (still is) optimal.

It's still pretty good XP, but the other options have not changed:

Dolmens
Imperial City
Public Dungeons

Solo grinding was never optimal in Skyreach ... accumulating XP in a pair was always (still is) optimal.

It's still pretty good XP, but the other options have not changed:

Dolmens
Imperial City
Public Dungeons

Uhmmmm no actually Skyreach was the best grind prior to Morrowind if you knew how and where inside to do it almost non stop. Not sure if the exp rate changed after but the other more logical choices are:

1. Cyrodil delves
2. Public Dungeons
3. .....

yeah, as much as i feel like i'm losing time i guess it really wouldnt be that much. probably my best bet other than duoing.
TBH i was just suprised. didnt really think they would change it. doesnt really make any sense considering you can still reset it with a group.

What do you mean you can't solo it anymore? When I solo'd skyreach, I would just have a friend or rando group up with me. Even if they log off, but are still in the group you should be able to reset skyreach still by swapping the nonvet/vet difficulties back and forth. At least thats what I did before. Haven't actually tried this patch.

You were never able to reset it while solo...

You always needed someone in your group so that you can change difficulty to reset it (I've been running Skyreach since One Tamriel). You don't need the person there with you (they don't even need to be online), you just need to be in a party. This has been the only way to reset instances (other than disband group) ever the since the game came out.

Solo Skyreach is absolutely optimal compared to any other solo grinding method.

Cyrodil delves are the best way to grind XP, but the most logical way is to just queue for random normal dungeons

see someone else told me that... i dunno, i swear i used to run it solo all day. i guess im forgeting something.
