I think it would be cool to have more "special" pets, like the Sanguine goat that whispers at times, for instance. A few of the pets have fun idle animations (bear cubs and the butterfly animation, lol) and stuff like that.

This I agree with. I especially like how the nixad not only has an animation where it eats a glow bug but it will also taunt you with nya nya nya nya nya nya.

I'd say a donkey that actually looks like a donkey for all the Shreks and Fionas out there. I like the owl idea but I don't know if I'd want something flying around me all the time. Today I was looking for a flaming pet. So anything that's flaming would be perfect. I would especially love a flaming boar. I don't know. I have this thing for miniature pigs and cats lol.

Spriggan Sapling!

I always thought Spriggans were really cool & The Spriggan Sapling would basically just be a smaller version of the ones you see in-game! Maybe like Knee or waist high? Would go well with the Wild Hunt Mounts they released a while back.

Hell even the common pet types we have now but in the Wild Hunt style would be awesome. Wild Hunt cats, dogs, fennec foxes, snakes etc.

Birds are also sorely lacking atm.

And lastly an actual NPC that you could design would be sweet as well! Like a follower from the singleplayer titles.

You could design it just like creating a character! Choose his/her race, facial features and use styles in the Outfit system to dress them.

It'd be a Cash Cow (Or Crown Cow?) first you buy the NPC from a couple presets. Then you could buy option to customize him/her, and then to use the Outfit System to make him/her an outfit.
