My wood elf and PVP

Am leveling my NB wood elf using 2H and bow. Jumped into Cyodil today @ lvl 24 and had a blast, even if a bit under-powered. Ran the periphery sniping then banging in with a charge...rinse repeat... So my questions are:

1. What are decent craft sets whilst I level (I assume a mix of Hundings / NMG)...I am 6 trait but can get anything made
2. Would training help with AP and/or PVP skill lines?

You're on the right track, @Gorilla.

Hunding's or NMG crafted.

If you have AP to spend you can supplement a crafted set with the Cyrodiil PvP bags ... such as Morag Tong or Marksman.

Since those are random drops, be prepared to spend 200k AP or more to get a 5-piece with jewelry set.

I have a low level Bosmer Stamblade that PvPs, too. She runs 5-pc Ravager and 5-pc Hunding's.

About the sets, the post above is a good advice.
Regarding training trait: you wont get more AP by wearing training traits. Training increases the amount of experience you gather, therefore also skills and skilllines will level faster. The alliance skillline is depending on the amount of AP you get, therefore training only would help level the skills, but you will not increase the skillline level faster.

Crit in Cyrodiil is kinda useless as all run impen or should so NMG is not in my opinion a good set.

I go full poison. Eternal Hunt and Morag Tong with high poison investment in CP and enchantments.

I even roll in to crowds just to leave the Poison Mark in the group. It's very much enjoyable.
