What's the cheapest way to get Writ Vouchers? Which profession is the best for this?

Leveling up alchemy to 50 (and clearing the achievements) are the easiest way to get writ vouchers.

However, the master writ drop for a alchemy master writ is 5-6 vouchers ... so accumulating vouchers is harder than equipment writs (which can sometimes be in the hundreds of vouchers on one master writ).

Don't want to level a profession? You can still buy writ vouchers at the guild traders.

Just make sure you can actually make the item specified in the master writ before buying.

Yep alchemy . You will only get 2 and 5 vouchers. If u have multiple toons lvl them all in alchemy. Or u can buy them for around 1500 for a 2v. And 5k to 8k for a 5v. Then u can just use one toon.

How? I have never seen any writ vouchers at any of the guild traders. I've searched and searched all the guild traders outside of the Grahtwood tree and couldnt find any. How are they listed? I searched under crafting, consumables, other, etc. and couldnt find any writs for sale. Are these only available in zone chat?

You have to search for everything that's Gold quality since they aren't in a category by themselves. Just scroll through the runeboxes and glyphs, you'll see them.

Ahh I see. Just checked and found a few writs that fat Goh and others are selling outside of Grahtwood.

    Thanks.

Alchemy and enchanting ones drop readily since the needed achievements are easy to get. Also alchemy has a pretty low craft cost in general, about ~300 gold per voucher. But you'll need lots of those to get any usable amount of vouchers. If you're on PC you can get various addons such as Writ Worthy and Daugubon's Writ Crafter to help you craft them in bulk and save time. You simply queue them and wait for them to get crafted, then go to Roris Hlaalu, click and turn in the writs right away.

Enchanting is a little harder to level up, however ... even if you make your own glyphs for decon.

I never did that, just fed the white glyphs dropped by mobs and the green ones from writ rewards and still managed to do 15 characters. I start that as soon as I create a character same as riding lessons. The latest one took 2 weeks to fully level the skill. Having Enchanting at 50 is really useful after I level up, since I sometimes use it to "inject" XP into some skills, to speed up training trough master writs. I don't use it to level the character since the XP and gold is leveled, and I don't like inefficiency. I want to get the most of them :)

to me the strengths of alchemy are that it is so easy to level, so easy to get the achievements that trigger the drop rates, provides materials that make it almost free (with it yielding enough gold to buy what isn't) and so easy to make and stack that you can have all characters running those writs.

While the equipment ones have higher values on some writs, your drop rate is minuscule without tons of motifs on any character doing them and the material demand is higher on the multiple daily writs. you can have 8-15 m,aster alchemy workers a lot easier than having even one equipment crafter with the motifs needed for decent drop rates.
