XP boost by armor

I'm thinking of making training cloths ( Emerald ) and depositing them in bank so my new characters would level up faster. Is it effective or progression boost won't be noticeable ?

it works somewhat well, i do it on my alts, tho they have to be blue and up to gain any real usefulness

I've collected the assorted pieces of the trainee item set in varying levels and have used them on all my characters during level up. improved to blue. mixed in with another set, usually vampires kiss, also in training trait I enjoy larger resource pools and less chance of dying while leveling up.

TBH, I've never worried about using training gear. I've found leveling to go fast enough just by questing. I've always used crafted gear (BLUE) on the 6's levels (6, 16, 26, etc.) as that's the cutover for mats. Having the proper stats and 5pc bonuses outweigh the bonus you'll get from training gear by allowing you to kill things a LOT faster.

You get close to 80% with purple training gear, thats more than the typical potion or scroll, with no expiration timer, and it stacks with all other xp gain bonuses like paired, mara, potions/scrolls, event buff, etc.

I have NUMEROUS suits of lvl 4 training purple sets and lvl 30 and thats how I use them, level 4 set to 30, level 30 set to 50.
