Dwarven crates are back

I bought a couple of extra crates to get enough gems for the things I wanted and ended up getting two frostbane mounts as well (bear and guar), so I'm pretty pleased.

I'll probably hold on to my gems, I always thought those mounts were kinda ugly.

Not that I am complaining but you can only get gems by buying crates and finding duplicates. So it's not like these things are "directly purchasable". You still need to run the RNG treadmill. If you could buy them with Crowns, then that would be clearly priced and directly purchasable.

Again not complaining, since I just won't buy them.

I got all my gems from the free crates we got from the last event. I turned the items from the crates into gems.
i do that every time we have a "free crate" event.

That works but it can be extremely slow. You only get gems for duplicate cosmetics or for consumable items and the majority of consumables are only worth 1-3 gems each, so getting 100 gems for a legendary tier item would take a long time unless you get lucky and get lots of XP scrolls.

The Dro-m'athra mount is so obvious, that I see it almost everywhere.
Due to this I find this mount boring.

But there are more fine items. Dragon priest full costume masked, pale guar mount, great elk mount, and so on, the problem is I have only 100 gems for single item .

Really would love it if they rerelease the fire crates as I wasn’t playing at the time and missed a mount the 1st time round, them redoing the Dwemer crates may mean they will redo the others too at some point

I got a special mount from a 4 pack...

Its not even in the list but i think its special... has lightning and red lights on it..

Edit: Am wondering if I'm wrong about this . . . are some of the dwarven mounts radiant?

Well, you would think that people would hold on to the Crowns and spend them when Summerset hits, and buy stuff that look really really nice then.

The only thing left that I want from the dwarven crates is one you can't buy with gems... That adamant Dwarven horse, it would go with my armor so well.

Pity I can't sell you mine. Don't really intend to use it anyway.

Aesthetically, I think I'd actually prefer the standard dwarven horse over the adamantium one. Curious why you think it looks better.

All in all, both the dwarven mounts and the radiant apex ones in these crates are pretty meh imo. I did buy the dwarven guar though, from gems leftover from the 4 dwarven bears that I don't intend to use either =p

I was disappointed to find that the White River Braids are not visible if I preview an Outfit helmet.

Am I doing something wrong?
