Crafting Advice

ForTheEmpire
I have a main level 50 CP200 character and a few low level character. Which of the following scenario is better and why ?
1) Reset my skill points and Make my main high level character a dedicated crafter at all fields .
2) Divide crafting fields between characters , like character A is a clothier and enchanter while character B is blacksmith and woodworker

There are enough skill points in the game to do crafting and combat.

You just have to prioritize getting skill points and being diligent about it.

Fun Fact: When Summerset drops it will push the total skill points available in the game to over 400.

I prefer having one dedicated crafter. For me it is a pain if I want a set of armor and weapons and have to switch characters to craft everything.

Depending on what you want to do, do you want to buy two copies of every motif you want to use? Might be easier to make one character Smith/Clothing/Wood, and the other Enchanting/Alchemy/Provisioning. Now that vouchers are account bound and not character bound, it makes things a lot better if you plan on doing any masterwrits.

If you want to split the crafting at all. I did it, pre-crafting bag, so I could limit what each character would farm. That was more for inventory control than any other reason.

    Just my two cents...

My main character handles every aspect of crafting. There are more than enough skill points in the game to do this and to have enough skill points for combat. The reason I do this is I don't want to keep changing characters if I ever need to craft anything. If I make armor, I can craft the enchantments needed immediately, along with the required potions and food.

PLUS, the most important thing for me is that it means that I don't ever have to grid skill points for any other character. Skill points come naturally by leveling and doing pledges.
