As someone who didn't support the sale, doesn't appreciate ZOS' artificial scarcity, price increases, etc.

I say: Bravo!

This is a step in the right direction on one of those fronts. I wish it were not the only season and I wish it was longer. However, if they continue to do short sales of previous crown crates + items periodically throughout the year (maybe every couple months have a week long "legacy crown crate sale"), I can get on board with that. I'll buy some crates in support of this decision.

As much as I hate Crown Crates, I do love Dwemer themed stuff.

This is a great addition. Would prefer to have old crown stuff be direct purchased, but I very much appreciate the fact that the items can be bought with gems. Don't have enough gems to get the Elven Hero Costume which I do like, but I might get one of the lower tier rewards since I have some gems saved up from the free crate event.

Either way, I do agree that this is a small step in the right direction. Thank you.

When the crate seasons were introduced, they were going to be a cycle - i.e. come back at regular intervals, and "seasons" implied annually. Now we have a lot more than four seasons, but the cycle would still be desirable, so it's not another "limited time only" thing. Maybe a few days each month, or a few more every other month?

Even though I had to buy 6 dwemer crates for enough gems, I finally got the Elven Hero Costume I always wanted and it made my week. I hope they bring back old crates more often since I always get sick of the current season.

Despite what some people claim, those of us who share our criticism don't do so blindly. Just because we don't like the direction ZOS has taken in some areas doesn't mean we can't appreciate steps gone back in the right direction.

In case you're new...a while back, ZOS did a limited time only rerelease of the first (2?) crown seasons. Except none of the items could be bought with gems. They obviously heard the discontent and decided that the next time they put up old crates, the items could also be bought with gems.

It literally has nothing to do with the crown sale. I still won't buy crates myself, but ANY step towards being more consumer friendly is at least a turn in the right direction and I'm happy to voice that opinion alongside the opinions regarding less consumer friendly practices. I'm not sure why people think everyone here has to be at one extreme or the other. You can enjoy things and still be critical of certain elements.

Any fair-minded person will have points they agree on and points they disagree on. Is it so hard to understand that you can dislike some actions and like others? Why do we either need to hate ZOS or love ZOS? And why in the world would we not want to commend ZOS when they do something we've been asking for?

ZOS discounts to 20% instead of the normal 40-50%: we show opposition.
ZOS gives us another crate season we wanted: we compliment

These days it seems too many folks think it's all or nothing, your either with me or against me, the reality is, we are going to agree on some things, disagree on others and those differences are going to vary from person to person.

I was very irritated with the 20% discount and voiced my objection loudly, then spent the money I'd set aside on other games, picked up Conan Exiles, having some fun with that and a few other little things since I won't be buying crowns any time soon.

I am mixed on crown crates, but definitely objected to the way many aspects of the game are being monetized.

I am so happy that they brought the dwarf crates back AND allowed us to purchase the items with gems. Got the Bear mount, dro senche mount and dro senche pet. Am a happy camper.

Nothing inconsistent about those opinions. Provide fair value and I am happy, provide poor value and I am not.

Would love to get them, but don't have enough gems >.< too expensive and the RNG is.........

besides, these skins should be put as an exotic choice in the Crown Store and finally gambling should be banned in games.

I for one just want to say thank you for this! I was able to get the double braids hairstyle that I missed out on last time. Plus got 2 pets and an outfit and some goofy looking forehead armour.

I missed getting the Dro'mathra cub last time, and was a little sorry I didn't. I was able to get it this time around, so yay.
Now I'd like them to bring back the storm atronach crates again, if we can use gems, because there are a whole lot of things I'm missing from that season.

I’m confused. People are mad about loot crates and gems, cus you have to buy many crates to get enough gems for apex mounts.

Now ZoS has returned some old crates, and everyone are cheerful. You still need to buy crates to get gems, or did I miss something?

Um, no... People are made because of a lot of reasons -- I won't detail them here because they've been discussed ad nauseam. However, one of the points of contention IS artificial scarcity of items. So... ZOS bringing back an old season of crown crates does take a small step in the right direction. We'll see if it continues... it's not like everyone is throwing a party and saying ZOS has been redeemed. But if you're going to criticize, then you also need to commend when they take a step in the right direction. And some of us are doing just that.

You don't have to choose to either hate or love ZOS. You can (and mature people should) voice opposition or support of specific items...
