Needed Maintenance

Played Friday, no issues. Had other stuff to do this weekend so game didn't get booted. Monday morning I decide I'm going to log in real quick to feed horses and do some writs before work. Game apparently has other plans.

• Took nearly a minute for the launcher to update applications and then display the play screen.
• Now that I have made it into the server, I've been sitting on "requesting character load" for 10 minutes - it hasn't even made it to an actual load screen yet.

Seems like skipping maintenance this week was a poor idea. (And no, nothing has changed on my end since Friday: no new hardware, addons, still on wired internet, etc)

I know this problem - restarting the launcher, not just the client, often fixes that.

lol. Very true. Luckily I am at work all day and won't really be missing out.

I had to eventually end task (task manager showed game was just hanging) and decided to spend the hour I had prior to leaving for work doing other stuff. Maybe it will work tomorrow.

6-8 hours? Lol you wish.

This has nothing to do with the servers, but it shows *your* computer was having some trouble. Maybe installing updates in the background of whoever knows what Windows decides to do in the background in the least appropiate times.

This could also explain the slowness in-game.

I logged in this morning too and noticed nothing unusual.
