Yep and buggy. I remember casting Agony on mounted enemies and watching them unable to break free while I danced by their side until it wore off.

But yes Agony and then a Crippling Grasp after they broke free was a nice combo.

Templars were also great, but you complain about 1 skill

What are you talking about? no one is complaining and no one said anything about Templars, but you. This thread has nothing to do with other classes, make another thread if you want to to talk about Templars.

Yeah malevolent offering it kinda weak. I have tried to run it in pvp, and after like 2 months with it on my back bar I decided it's just not worth it. i used is defensively under shields with a hot stack with mutagen as a safety net. I'll put it this way, you end up stuck on the defensive. I would casts mutagen, refreshing path, shrewd offering, shield stack go offensive. Problem it vs good players my shields are down quick so I can't get my hp back from casting. Same problem for when you're low hp and you use it to recover. I'm at say 60% hp and use it, this puts me in execute range.

As far as pvp goes, and what I have experienced in my use of it, risk does not equal reward.

They weren’t buggy, people just didn’t know how to break free from them. Just dismount the horse and break free normally. Well that’s gone now, at least.

I really depends on temhe magblade using it. Throwing offering onto a damage oriented magblade will yield less then ideal reuslts. 5h magblades with attention placed into healing done makes good use of the skill. 8-9k over 8 seconds + plus minor mending, mutagen pop, 900 path and funnel health ticks especially with degeneration getting buffed due to la buffs and siphoning attacks heal for yourself, it adds up. For heavy amor argonian magblades.

Yeah maybe I give it another go in summerset on heavy armor. At the time I was running it in light.

I'm with you. I was upset when they came up with the self-injure thing. I actually used that cc. I have a feeling that the Devs don't like cc's though, and I would not be surprised if some day they remove Talons, and the Sorc Crystal path thingie. I've seen this before in other games where developers get sick of dealing with crowd control and having seen them remove CC from the Templar class, and start doing it to other classes (warden/nb) it would not shock me if they're trying to limit them.
