Why are you running Plate over Scales?
Most people dodge the crap that get's sent back, and you get spammed with so many projectiles that most go through anyways, so I'd rather get a tiny bit more resistance.

Excellent use of chains. Probably the best I've seen in a video. DKs shouldn't just assume it;s terrible and won't work. I'd take that Chains over Toppling Charge every day of the week and with double empower, Chains is going to be even that much better next patch.0 -

Derra's ward, yuke's major protection, zzorr's vigors, and my own ward + gdb/embers
Trollking/Vigor Combo is nice for our small group of mostly 4-5 people. On good days (much range aggro and one or two kills) i can manage a Major Protection uptime of 40-50%. Everything in my build is focused on Ultimate Gain, i play the easiest possible damage combo of Scorch -> Heavy Attack + Low Slash, so i can focus on feeding my Ult (timed dodge rolls to trigger Tavas, trying to trigger caster into attacking me, etc)

I feel like Heavy is mostly dead especially on magicka.
I tested around with magnb, DK and Templar and the loss of survivability wasn't really noticeable while the damage and healing output is way better especially for bursting weak targets.
Also sustain is just so much better with light any medium when you are kiting/ running away or can't take the time to channel a heavy attack.
For medium vs heavy i just notice how op shuffle becomes in lag.
Shuffle + dodge and LoS and i can survive much longer than when running heavy and i just need the rally burst with the amount of desync that is happening all the time.Edited by BohnT on May 13, 2018 6:23PM0 -

They're a mandatory skill on my bar if I want to be able to engage at the same speed as my group, switch to a different target focus, or even get out of trouble and use the speed bonus.0 -

Maxi, impreg in 5L really helps for mDK. Pair it with BSW or Lich or something. Valkyn or Bloodspawn.0
