NPC getting in way of picking up loot

It's so frustrating when you have a NPC following you through a dungeon and they are always getting in the way of you picking up loot. Is there a way for ESO to have them stand a little farther away? I end up talking to them when I hit the "e" key to pick up loot - very annoying. I hope they can fix this as this is an old issue in other areas as well.

That is a big problem and it is anoying. You have to move all around just to pick up loot

The worst is when you're doing the main quest and have Lyris, Sai Sahan and Abner Tharn all following you and getting in the way!

As bad as that is, if your character is a Sorcerer who summons the Twilight Matriarch (or the other morph, the Twilight Destroyer -?-), then the familiar also prefers to fly around near the character, especially while the character is not moving. That is, while the character is looting a corpse(s) or a container. Add the other four of the Five Companions and they can collectively become a significant handicap.

The display of the Dialog UI for interacting with a NPC isn't affected by the flying familiar. However, obtaining the Interactive Prompt to initiate the dialog can be an exercise in timing your keypress so that it won't be hidden by her flapping wings. You find yourself humming the line "Don't stand, don't stand so close to me."

Omg yes, I was going to mention that too. I hate it when I go in with a group and people have their fighting pets with them and the flap their wings in front of what you want to engage with. Really really frustrating.
Wish ESO would make them non-blocking features. Especially when you're in a dungeon or group and trying to loot and keep up with your people.
