Does anti-aliasing work in ESO?

I've tried and noticed no difference between high DSR and regular 1920x1080 (other than it cuts my FPS in half). Don't notice a difference with MFAA either. I can run DSR and MFAA plus in-game anti-aliasing, and the aliasing is still very easy to spot on things like armor in the character selection menu for example. I'd think with 3 different methods of getting rid of jaggies this should be gone. Not sure what the deal is.

I'd really like to see TXAA or TAA or whatever it's called.

I think I put my specs in my signature. Thoughts?

I notice a slight difference with using in-game AA, but the rest, I just shut them off.

I use Reshade for AA. It's better than the in-game option.

Cool deal. It handles most of the aliasing but doesn't blur as much as in-game AA.

I used SMAA back in the GTA4 days when no other anti-aliasing worked.

Why would you need AA when you play in 4K anyway? #pcmasterrace

I've tried 38XX resolution with DSR and it killed my fps but seemed to provide not much, if any, of a graphics boost. My monitor only does 1080p, but expected more from the downsampling.

I do love my PC though. :) I rebuilt it Saturday and get great fps. Given spending the $400 for a console or a new gfx card, I'd buy the card.

4K doesn't get rid of jaggies. Jaggies are a result of how the game's graphics engine renders objects, not a low resolution. Jaggies are less noticeable but still clearly there.

Hmm, I figured downsampling 4k to 1080 would kill them off in combo with the ingame AA. I'm happy with the SMAA in reshade though. Get the antialiasing, no major hit on FPS, and the distant textures look clearer than in-game AA.

I really wish the game itself had some better options than fxaa or nothing. Did a little googling and get the feeling a TXAA injector may not be possible, would have to be done by the game.
