Can ZOS restore clips that do not save correctly?

My "Xbox Record That: function decided this one time to NOT record the last two minutes, but instead to record the last two seconds. I talked with MS and they told me that if I go to the forums and ask ZOS (and also turn in a ticket) that they can restore a clip from whenever time I need them to. (By clip I just mean footage).
So.. @ZOS_GinaBruno ... can this be done? I'm hoping MS just didn't feel like not dealing with me and cast me over here.

✭✭✭✭✭Unless these clips are stored on the ZOS servers, not sure how ZOS can help with an Xbox Function. The game itself does not have a record feature, at least on PC.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Sorry to dash your hope, but recording is done on your console, not over the server. The console will sync the video to your Live account, but it goes no where else unless you share it.I'm hoping MS just didn't feel like not dealing with me and cast me over here.
This is why you can edit it quickly.
Just a head's up: you need to watch your drive space. If there's not enough room to record the video, the feature will automatically scale back the allotted time. If you exceed this, you'll get an error indicated you are out of space.
It's very likely you suffered a bug, or in Microsoft's definition, an undocumented feature (to save space).

You can use "shadowplay" if you have an Nvidia card to record game footage. Works rather well for me. I'm constantly recording a 5-min clip. If I want to save the last 5 mins, I can just hit the hotkey to save. (useful to see what caused a wipe) I can also start and stop on demand.

Yea, my Asus ROG Laptop has this function too but it is still outside the game.
Hmm I have an AMD/ATI Graphics card, wonder if Catalyst has a record feature. I could find out, but I won't let the CCC software run.

It was more a challenge to myself and stuff. I'm in the camp that it's a cherry picked, useless parse because it isn't indicative of the "average" parse that one will get, but that isn't why i'm doing it.

✭Check your Xbox settings for recording video clips. When I record on PS4, the console can only save/record the last 15 minutes up until the second you save the clip to the hard drive.
I don't own an Xbox, but definitely try your settings on video clips and see what is there. Another option, if you do not have enough hard drive space, it probably won't save either.0 -

Hitting 49k is no accident bud. Maybe some good rng with crit but no accidents when u hit 40k+ solo parse.
Im hitting 45k solo with stamblade but i dnt got war machine yet
