Anyone else stopped receiving Writs?

Since the event I haven't received a single one, big or small.

I've asked in guild and they said they are definitely less frequent but are still getting them. Bug or nerf?

I've been closely monitoring the Master Writ drops since the end of the event, since I'm curious to know how many of them can 14 crafters beget, compared to the 10 I had before - I leveled 4 more "bank" characters during the event and converted them to writ crafters. As of yesterday I had received 128 master writs totaling 1639 vouchers in a 15 day period. So I certainly see such "drought", but rather the expected increase compared to the previous period, accounting for the ~35% increase in top tier ordinary writs - not all did the top tier gear ones from the start, since I had to feed them trash items to decon and raise the skills.

Yeah I noticed the master drop rate has fell way off. Was getting 1-3 writs over 50 vouchers a week now nothing. Not even the 2-6 voucher ones.

Despite adding a couple more characters who can get master writs to my roster. I noticed a sharp drop in the number of master writs I've been getting since the event ended but attributed it to bad RNG.

Can't help but think they have lowered the drop rate as we will most likely be using writ tokens for jewellery research scrolls, which means less buying them from the crown store!

Different on different platforms maybe.

On NA PC, where my crafting empire is based, the rate at which I receive master writs has slowed, but I am getting more higher value writs. Most in the 50 voucher range.

I even received 2 40-voucher enchanting writs. Did not know they existed, despite getting a veritable ton of master writs a week.

15 Crafters, I noticed an immediate decline in the drop rate from the day after the event ended. I don't keep records but I've gotten roughly 50 vouchers worth of writs since it ended when I used to get that almost every day, if not every other

Getting surveys and a few writs. I get most of my writs on my top crafter. I only have a few of the 9 traits finished in blacksmithing and almoat no motifs and i get mostly blacksmithing sealed writs. Next i get woodworking. I have not gotten any other writs on that toon. My new toons i have only gotten 3 writs between them all .. more surveys than anything.

. I have only been doing writs for a few days tho. Just getting into it so i think it will even out

Just had a first for me got four writs in one day on one toon

My master crafter I do all 6 writs every day this character knows all 9 traits, all motifs (except the 3 that were limited time Crown store purchases). Knows all alchemy, and enchanting, missing only a hand full of provisioning recipes.

Last fall I was on average getting 2 writs per week they were usually 2-5-6 voucher writs, and bout every two week I would get a writ for 15+ vouchers.

After January it dropped and is now 1 writ per week, in the 2-5-6 voucher range and about once in month a 15+

I am wondering if knowing more furniture crafting recipes is part of what increases the chance of drop.

Since the event I got 2 enchanter writs 2 vouchers each...

I don't even bother anymore. It is easier to make gold and buy the writs that I can craft instead of hoping for some lucky drop

Crown store exclusive motifs don't count towards getting master writs, and you will never get a master writ in Grim Harlequin, Frostcaster or Tsaeci; they also don't have their own achievements, like the others.

Yes I know this thread is old, but would just like to say that since the last update I have not received any writs at all.
Used to always get Alchemy or Enchanter writs for one toon per week. Now nothing!

Why not sell them, cheap?

I mean the master writs you sometimes get as part of the reward package for completing daily Alchemy/Enchanter/Provisioning writs.
I get loads of surveys but no master writs, and none today either.

Still getting them at statistically normal rates this patch on PC/NA. Data is shared in the link in my signature. Small sample size so far so the rates can be varied. Happens each patch and then they tend to revert to the mean.

Also still getting them, on both servers, for all crafting lines. Only my mains are at master crafting levels, so I get master writs on only one character per server, hence I can't give any safe estimates about frequency, since the drops vary in frequency on any given character. (I'm assuming that being able to get drops on more characters would tend to average out the effects of RNG, thus allowing for a better estimate of frequency.)

One thing I do notice is that occasionally I'll get a specific master writ on one server-- say, a Provisioning writ for a particular food or drink-- then (on the same day) get the exact same writ on the other server! I assume this is just the "wonder" of RNG at work, since most of the time it doesn't happen, and that the only reason it seems to happen as "often" as it does is because it tends to stand out (or is so memorable) whenever it does happen.
