How do you train your horse?

I leveled mount skill for all 8 of my toons back when the skill was tied to the specific mount, rather than a global mount skill for your character. Hence, I was able to level all 3 skills daily, using 3 imperial horses, whose progression then got merged together when the game changed over to B2P.
Really we do it without like, the musical instruments. This is the only musical: the mouth. And hopefully the brain attached to the mouth. Right? The brain, more important than the mouth, is the brain. The brain is much more important.

It depends on the character (as it's really them getting the training).

Crafting alts get capacity first, so they can bring more other junk back from foraging runs. The craft bag may hold all the mats they gather, but other drops pile up fast. After a while, they'll also want some speed between nodes.

Combat characters want speed first, followed by stamina. Stamina gets a point whenever it's feeling inadequate.

Speed to 60 so I don't slow others down when I am grouped. Then balance stam & capacity up together. Some char's might factor in the visual upgrades earned at 20 to mix that up a bit.

Focus on speed first, at least up to 40, then speed and stamina until stamina is 10-15, capacity to max then stamina.

Most of my characters are for PVE and I do a lot of trials and dungeons, so I do Speed-Capacity-Stam.
My few PVP characters though I do Speed-Stam-Capacity, bag space isn't as important as not getting ganked on my mount.

Capacity is first for me because no space is a real problem and a huge hindrance to do other activities, I've wasted way too much time sorting out full inventories, space is too much important.

Speed as second even if in pvp I keep losing objectives with alts because at the time they arrive riding the potato horse, all is well gone. Though I truly prefer to have more space, it's not so incredibly important that more AP, while it's incredibly important I don't go insane with items.

Same for Stamina, it's annoying, also in pve, falling from the horses within a second from trash mobs every time, but whatever.

Anyways, at the time I play with new alts they usually have the capacity maxed out, so I'm starting with speed or I have some points already (not many but the finish line is a little closer).

I try to do a variation, sometimes training 2 speed 1capacity, but lately I've mostly been focusing on capacity.

Inventory space is a must and having more of it lets you focus on other activities for longer. Speed is also a must, but while capacity saves hours of bank trips, speed only saves minutes. And stamina is... stamina, haven't gotten into pvp yet, and it's really not that useful in pve.

My main's horse has been maxed out for a long time now, and honestly I forget what I did (probably pretty random though).

Every alt has followed the progression of speed, stamina, capacity. I usually park them near a stable when I'm not consistently playing them, so it doesn't feel like it's that bad.

Speed is the most important, followed by stamina. Capacity is meh because bag upgrades usually suffice on the alts.
