Inventory Spaces

Please Dear ZOS

Increase the Bank and Inventory Capacity
OR give the Craft Bags for free

Because of that problem i dont want to open game and deal with this mess
I got tired to open characters to use as a BANK
or move items from there to there , ı want to leave Items In The bank or To Character ınventory that i will use on it.

Get ESO+ for one month, crafting stuff will all go in bag. Use that period of double space to move stuff around and create lots of mules.

Easy solution.

You think ESO is bad - go look at a number of the f2p games

but mostly - learn if aint useful vendor it (or guild trader it), it wont be any more useful later...

Try to hoard less.
I understand the hoarding impulse, I have far too much stuff that will never be useful.. but I have it crammed into my house storage containers.

Also the way I keep my inventory and bank from filling up (without having the craft bag) is by constantly selling my materials on my guild store. Materials sell really fast and for plenty of gold. You then take the gold you got from selling them then buying it back for less money when you need it.

extra trick: you can list something for a month then when it doesn't sell it goes into your mail where you can store it for another month.

Now during the recent event boxes I completely filled up everything.. characters, bank and listings it was terrible so it can happen, but I mostly get by without any issues... well a little bit of inventory management online.

Edit: I haven't actually maxed my bank its at 180.. then I have two characters at 180 inventory slots (my mains) and my other 3 characters have random amounts for when I actually remember to feed their horses or bothered to buy space for them.

200 slots per character 8 characters base, for the cost of the game, has not needed a sub for years. ESO+ craftbag is a nice plus but not essential for non-crafters & anything in the Crown Store is just you buying 'cos you want to, there is nothing in that store that is needed

so any money you spend outside the initial purchase/s and any sub is on you

Why you compared to other games.. I Play eso and need this for me and i ask for it. ı dont whine. I put one of my request in to the forum that opens to everyone.

To be fair ESO promotes hoarding with everything they do.. and even if my bank was a thousand spots i'd still not have enough room with how ESO dumps so much garbage on us to save...

That is part of the plan - simple as that. If you have to struggle with inventory, you are more likely to buy storage space in one way or the other. And when you finally are so annoyed by it, you will subscribe to finally have enough space available. This is a very simply strategy and it will work on you as well, OP - sooner or later - or, the other option, you will just let go on the game. The first is more likely though, and that is why ZOS is doing it that way - and creates lots of stuff, which occupies storage slots.

But there is a different solution - most stuff you have you do not need at all - get rid of it.

I know this won’t help everyone and doesn’t solve the problem, but if you are on pc I would suggest this addon,

It is called bank manager revived and while it doesn’t give you more space after setting it up it can save you a ton of time. For example say you have one character who is your smith. You can set all the other characters so that when they open the bank the automatically deposit all items associated with that profession. And set the profile on your smith so that when they open the bank the automatically withdrawal all items related to smithing.

It does take some time to tweak it just right. But in the end it is a huge time saver.

Yep it does take a bit of tweaking to get it setup right but it is still a useful tool if you want to hoard, or dont have access to the crafting bag

Just wanted to recap how much inventory space players actually have without the crafting bag ... since these kinds of threads get somewhat tiring:

- 15 characters with in-game gold or crown purchased bag upgrades (up to 140 each character; includes new character slot available with Dragon Bones DLC) = 2,100 slots
- Mount bag space upgrades (15 mounts x 60) = 900 slots
- Personal bank space (with upgrades & ESO+) = 480 slots
- Home storage bins (NEW with Dragon Bones DLC) = 360 slots

Total: 3,840

Personal Guild Banks = 500 slots each (up to 2,500); limit of 5 guild banks


If a player doesn't have any personal guild banks, we're still approaching 3,900 inventory slots ... not including the crafting bag or stacked inventory.

So, the first question for any player feeling constricted on inventory ... have you hit 3,840 character and bank slots yet?

If you can't manage what you have in that allotment of inventory slots that's your own fault [shrug].

This is also a idea. Don’t want to sub all the time? Ok only sub for a month every 3-4 months. Use the one month you are subbed to put everything into your crafting bag. Then When your sub drops you are back to where you were but all your crafting supplies have been put away giving you a lot more space. And you get 1500 crowns. so if you use crowns for anything at all, you don’t have to feel down that you spent 15 dollars just to use the bag for a month.

Again not an answer to your problem just another work around since I doubt you will get what you asked.

I recommend that people see this as a game where crafting and housing are only part of the additional paid subscription. Never pick up any mats, except medium armor. Sell those as you get a stack or as soon as you outlevel the specific mat.

Without crafting and housing, the base game bank and bag spaces is decent. You still may need a mule or two, but you should only see them once or twice a week. Fight, quest, decon, sell. repeat often for a fun time.
