lazy writ crafter bug - bags not opening

so when i use lazy writ crafter i often have the issue that some of the bags i get (for ressources, rewards etc.) are not automatically opening and if i open them manually i have to exit everythime trhough esc and cant use the normal in game controls (im playing on a gamepad)... is that random? or can i prevent this somehow?
