Hello, Im pretty new to the forums/game and wanted to get some insight on housing. With the addition of storage, the houses seem more appealing to get as I do not have one atm. Today they show cased the long awaited Palace which looks very nice however it's limited time purchase. Some questions: Any guesses on price of this manor or average? Were there limited time houses that came back later on in the crown store? Anyone else planning on buying it?

Are you wanting it furnished or not?

Grand Topal Bay was 15000 crowns unfurnished or 18000 crowns fully furnished

Hakkvild's High Hall 12000 or 15000

Linchal Grand Manor 14000 or 17500

Pariah's Pinnacle 13000 or 16250

Tel Galen Tower 8000 or 10000

The Erstwhile Sanctuary 13000 or 16250

The Orbservatory Prior 12000 or 15000

I've highlighted all of the similar size ones (can hold 700 items). FYI, 5000 crowns is $50 therefore, you'll likely be paying in excess of $100 bare minimum. I've highlighted that because I disagree with ZOS hitting players with a fear of missing out and excessive pricing. Its unfair and totally unethical. If I were you I'd see what Summerset brings or what you can get with gold. Obviously to each their own, but go into this with your eyes open.

House Of The Silent Magnifico is redguard themed and only 325,000 gold but holds a bit less at 400. Might be worth considering.

The although the twilight palace is an impressive building it's impossible to do it justice while the 700 decorations cap is in place.

Unless you've bought crowns on sale, this house is going to cost in excess of €100.
Given the price of the game and ALL its DLC, this is just crazy money.
No limited time houses have reappeared yet. There will be a permanent house with summerset that looks pretty cool and should cost a lot less.

So it’s a very limited time House then? That’s unfortunate I really wanted this home, but the plan was to wait until I can purchase Crowns on sale to buy it. Honestly I’m really disappointed I won’t be getting this home.

I see, thank you guys for the insight. Seems like 15k-20k crowns then, I'll just pass. I'll follow that sound advice and settle for a smaller home for now and wait till summerset. Cheers.

It really, truly is. I'll be getting it, but that's only because I have a ton of ESO+ Crowns I'm sitting on because they keep putting most things I'd actually want to buy into the Crown Crates, and I have little interest in gambling. If I hadn't been sitting on 6+ months of ESO+ Crowns and some leftovers from the last Crown Sale, though, I wouldn't be getting it. And I'd be very, very sad, given how amazing the place looks.

Limited time housing costing twice the amount of a full premium game: just as terrible an idea as it ever was. But people will buy it - myself included in this case - so...

I will be passing on this, not because I'm unwilling to buy it, but because there still has been no crown sale and I am not going to purchase crowns at full price.

Run a crown sale so I can stock up, I'll buy it.

It's a lovely house but, even if I wanted to spend that much real money on a digital house (I don't), I probably wouldn't. It's far, far too large to furnish with the slot limitations, even for those with ESO+.

I also won't be buying, it's a beautiful house but there hasn't been a crown sale and I wanted to stock up on around 100k crowns. Won't buy full priced. /:

Unfortunately, people like us aren't really the market base for these overpriced houses. As long as Moby has a large enough school of friends, ZOS will always charge these kinds of prices. I mean why not? Even if only 1% of the playing population buy something at $/€100, they make a fortune!!

Won't be buying it for three reasons:

1.) These huge houses getting bigger and bigger with the same 700 slot limitation makes them not worth it.

2.) $100+ for a digital house is just something I think is ridiculous (my own personal opinion).

3.) I will NOT buy anything from CS anymore that is on a four-day limited sale. They should, at minimum, for limited items be loading them up on the 1st of the month and let them run through the end of the month.

My two cents anyway.

Agree with all 3 points above. In 2017, having purchased the base game in 2016, I spent $539.50 on ESO and do not own a single notable home or limited time house. It's embarrassing.

I also agree about the limited time sales - I don't buy out of principle - the houses are expensive and creating this artificial sense of urgency with the limited time feels coerced, also the limited number of slots (700) just isn't anywhere close enough to do this beautiful house justice from my perspective. I will save my cash for the Summerset townhouse instead, as I anticipate the boathouse being a limited time offer too.
