TES 6? What would it be about?

DragonKiller12348
I really would like to see some ideas about what The Elder Scrolls 6 might be about, if it ever comes out. I myself, think it should take place right after Skyrim. By this I mean less than 5 years after. The story should revolve around stopping or relaxing the Aldmeri Dominion and the Thalmor because in Skyrim, no matter which side you took in the civil war, a world war will probably start between the empire and the Dominion. The game should take place on Auridon and Summerset where you and a group of followers try to stop the Dominion from the inside and end the hostilities between the two factions peacefully, or by force. It would work good because there hasn't been an Elder Scrolls game based in the Summerset Isles since Arena. I would suggest to even add something where the Aldmeri Dominion discovers the truth behind the Aeleid's power and you have to stop them before they take over the world. Does anyone agree that this should be the next Elder Scrolls game (If there is going to be one) or does anyone have other ideas?

For me, personally, I would really like to see a future Elder Scrolls title set in Hammerfell, specifically the areas like Stros M'Kai and Alikr Desert. Those were some of my favorite areas in ESO. I would also like to see the next title in places like Valenwood or Elsweyr. Hell, maybe even somewhere outside of Tamriel, let's explore other continents that are only touched on in lore.

    Completely spitballing here :

    Tes 6 Setting : Elsweyr

Tes 6 Main Plot : Akavir is invading again. Amid the turmoil you are tasked with seeking the aid of an ancient dragon who has faced off against an invading Akaviri army before... none other than the dragon from The Story of Lysirius! Unfortunately, you, being an adventurer, are a two-legged bearer of weapons, and so the dragon will never trust you. Instead, you must use an Elder Scroll to rewrite history so that you've never touched a weapon before, which in itself is a grand undertaking. Several additional story options for gaining the dragons aid would be things like literally never picking up a weapon, only using summoned arms, or taking on a character flaw in the starting character generator that causes an instant Disintegrate Weapon (as the Morrowind spell effect) on you whenever you try to pick one up. Would be great for a setting like Elsweyr, where you could instead just learn all kinds of cool unarmed martial or mystical arts to meet the quest requirements.

Nope, after Michaels bizarre Lore outbursts, we need a game set in the 9th Era with space ships, robots, weird dwemer influenced machines all over the place. Its time to take Elder Scrolls into the firm realms of warhammer 40K-like sci-fi!

I would be super cool with a TES-themed Deep Lore series of games set in the 11th Era or whatever. Wouldn't even have to be action adventure RPG. Have a spacefaring strategy game where you conquer Deadric pocket realms. Have a Tower Defense game where you're an agent of the empire tasked with putting down a series of increasingly-complex worker's rights movements. Have a Phoenix Wright courtroom-style drama featuring a presiding judge who is a cyborg betty netch. Lots of potential.

TES6 will hopefully not focus on:
    redguards (boring culture)
khajiit (liars and thieves the lot of them)
    high elves (everyone hates them)
argonians (there isnt enough lore to make a whole game about it)

another fully nord- focused or dark elf- focused game would be great! morrowind and skyrim were not enough.

that post is based entirely on a mod for morrowind. nowhere in the game does it even mention that quote that the NPC says. you can check this yourself, https://cs.uesp.net/index.php?game=mw&search=akivari

that link searches the morrowind construction set, all files/text in the game. "akivari" is not mentioned anywhere, proving that this is from a mod.

BGS should just spend the next 10 years alternating between Fallout and [New Franchise] games.

Maybe by 2028 tech will have advanced to the point where an entire seamless Nirn with drop-in-drop-out co-op is feasible.

I have a feeling this is right as well although I might see them project far into the future. My own personal view of the story of the Dragonborn is that he would be extremely powerful. If the Dragonborn is intelligent he could very easily unite all of the Northern kingdoms to his side in pushing back the Thalmor. This obviously includes Hammerfell, High Rock, Orsinium, Morrowind, and quite possibly the Argonians, Khajiit, and Bosmer. It was made very clear in the Skyrim story that the Bosmer were not particularly fond of what happened when the Thalmor took over, as it was clear the Bosmer were lesser creatures to the high and mighty Altmer. Simultaneously, I suspect the Redguard would be close to reviving their knowledge of the Shehai. It seems time for their ancestral ragada rage to return, given the elven affront that has come to their soil. I could very well see the Dragonborn and this Shehai master uniting to utterly wipe out the Altmer quite possibly, in the same manner as the Ayleid before.

What do I think? If I were the writer I would likely write in the history of this story I just told you in the forms of lorebooks and such. It would be a new tale where the Altmer are almost extinct and their Island is conquered. Why? Because entropy has been digging its hooks into Nirn for millennia and it just makes sense. I would hope for something utterly new for them to bring in. A new problem, a new culture, and new cultures should be explored. Perhaps the tale of the Altmer people has them fleeing to Pyandonaea or to Akavir. In short I would hope for something totally fresh and surprising, though I would be perfectly fine with a Saxhleel tale, Elsweyr tale, Shehai tale, or Akaviri tale.

In Skyrim, for some reason the Thalmor have gotten it in for me. They've sent 4-three men squads of assassins after my character.

So, now it's war. I kill every Thalmor individual on sight. And I'm closing in on their embassy - that will be fun.

So, a TESVI that involves the Thalmor would be fine with me.

I'll step up my game a few levels lol. My main will be a bowazon and her sneak level will be so high, she can stand next to you and you wouldn't see her. Little overdone, but hey, I don't make the games, just play them.
