Many moons ago I bought the Imperial Edition of the game on disc. I am about to get a PS4 pro as my PS is dying. I am thinking my disc is dying too. I have ESO+ for access to DLC's and I bought the digital download expansion for Morrowind and have Sumerset expansion on pre-order. So I don't need all the extra bits I just want the base Imperial Edition on download. Anybody know which I should get?

I don't know how it works for console, but usually everything is tied into your account or PSN so whatever you have unlocked on your account will be there still on fresh installs as the game installs everything including stuff you haven't unlocked. Just download the software, install, log into your PSN (should be), and it'll all be there.

The Imperial Edition should be unlocked on your account, so even if you don't use the disc again to install the game on your new console your ESO account should still remember "This player has access to this content".

So if you don't want all the extra bits, you should just be fine with the Summerset Digital Upgrade.

Oki ty for replying - I thought it should be but I was told without disc it wouldn't remain unlocked.
Summerset Digital Upgrade - that is not the expansion I have on preorder though - does that mean I am in theory buying twice?

Do you remember if the imperial edition was a DLC code?
I have the "gold edition" which is actually just the base game with a DLC code. Imperial edition is a crown store thing, I guess it would just have been a DLC code. If so, you have it already.
if unsure, check your transaction history on PSN.

No its a disc which was the which was for pre-order back in 2015 and I am still using it lol its the base game plus the some extra stuff like any race, any alliance, imperial race and imperial horse. I got my Molag Bal statue and lore book etc with it too. Its not a DLC just a special edition when game was first released.
