Ach.. I dunno, part of me is suspicious over the map debacle and ZOS's silence on the matter - i.e if it was nonsense they'd shut it down with clarity. I love the high elves so have been choking to see Summerset and have 1m ear marked for that house over there.

I've been digging the beta, but I quit the main quest because I don't want to spoil it all for myself before it goes live. Pretty cool what I've seen so far. The architecture and new critters are nice. Plus of course, the multicore improvements.

Nah. I didn't preorder and I'm not planning to purchase anytime soon. I have tons of quests to do on my new alt and if zones will be emptier due to Summerset hype hell yeah that's good for me. I'm kinda curious what will be login rewards but I'm not holding my breath for anything good.

I've dabbled with Jewellery Crafting on the PTS and I'm looking forward to levelling it up when it goes live.

Not looking forward to the slog of obtaining even more motifs though. Just when I've collected all of them, ZOS releases even more.

Are you smoking crack? Wrothgar was a DLC that was 2x the size of summer set. This "expansion" is a joke. And over priced one at that

What?? You aren't excited to use that reverse time spell so you can jump off cliffs and go in reverse?

nope to me that ability is 100% a useless waste of a skillpoint. the only good spell from that tree and i litterally mean the only one is meditate. which can be used to make it through certain trial mechanics and keep good sustain.

ah ok and yea it was kinda rediculous with what he did with that but the psijic skill line when they said well be controlling time i expected more. not a worthless weapon imbue or a ability a healer practically can give you with twilight remedy. and the ultimate shouldve been able to use when your dead or something. that ultimate is lacking horribly. the only good one is meditate and the almost constant free 5k shield youll have with it on you bar that you can block with.

I'm excited for two-handed weapons to count as 2pcs... although it means I have to gold out another couple of weapons and do some creative rearranging. I had been looking forward to Jewelry Crafting but now I don't have to since I'll get bonus from these changes.

Not really but i seldom get excited about anything these days.. I'm a realist i know this is all marketing and issues in ESO will still be issues in Summerset..

New content is nice but old content being left out to dry for new content is bad.. or worse both hidden behind loot box scams..

@esp1992 that meditate looks great, and don't you get major protection while using or channeling Psijic abilities?

I wonder if it scales? Soulshine if it does.

Cyrodiil's Ward is it? The one that gives 15% damage mitigation when channeling may actually see play. 41% damage mitigation (without CP) while gaining that health and procing things like transmutation or troll king

i couldn't care less about the size of the Summerset zone. if the whole thing was just Artaeum and was the size of a starter island i'd still be happy about jewelrycrafting and hanging out with Psijics. the only things i've done in Vvardenfell is check out the tutorial, get the personality, and some real estate. i haven't worked through half the base game's quests. the size of the new map is the least of my concerns. if "Summerset" was not even a map, just a pretty picture of a big unclimbable mountain, that'd be fine with me because i'm here for the skill lines, more stuff to craft, more ways to customize my character and having more fun in combat. smoking crack actually leads people to become more single-minded, like someone who fixates on the relative sizes of maps for instance...

Well, I may not be as excited as some in here but I did however just happen to decide to take a break from school that lines up with this release. So I am definitely excited that my break will line up with the introduction of new content.

I may be skeptical of how some of the changes will affect my particular playstyle and not looking forward to some of those changes, however...
