Where are my glowing orbs?

Today while doing a dungeon our tank asked if we could see his glowing orbs. He was wearing ebon set and he was talking about the three red floating orbs around him. We could see his orbs but apparently he could not. Then i realized that my orbs are missing too (3 blue orbs of worm raiment set which are more beautiful than the devilish orbs of ebon armor). Then my group said they were able to see it.
I wonder if anyone else can't see their own orbs.

They're more for group selection than anything else - status. Tells everyone that you have ebon armory set for what that's worth. Same reason I keep my monster set visible (not the helmet just the shoulder, the helm is downright nargly). Other than aesthetics I can't see any other practical reason to have them floating around. ✭Considering how there have been issues with sets suddenly not granting the item bonus, I always worry when the orbs disappear. So I quickly pop one item to make sure the full set is active.Xbox NA2 -

My friend is rocking the ebon set hand has the red balls, his are cool too.
My cousin, who was wanting to get a set so there would be a magicka one in our group, he has blue balls now...

✭✭✭I wish we had the option to turn them off. I like seeing them (at first) but I wear Worm Cult and Ebon on my NB argonian tank. It's trippy looking!!! It looks like American Police siren lights.
After a while, though, it gets a little overwhelming to the senses.Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.

✭✭I would prefer an option to not see them, they are annoying to look at.
That being said it's just a UI issue. Either do a /reloadui or remove a piece of 5 piece set then re-equip and they show back up.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Basically, if your grouped with others, you don't see your own Orbs, but others in the group do see them. I know for sure this the case in a dungeon, and I am pretty sure overland/PvP too.
If your solo, you see them.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

This in't the case, I can still see my ebon orbs in trials.
AS for OP, there is an "issue" or an intended thing happening with the outfit system. if you are using an outfit the unique effects like orbs won't necessarily work. for example I have transmogged my alkosh gear and neither the weapon or shield i have changed them to have the unique blue shimmer.
A same issue was happening to a guy using worm in a dungeon the other day. idk if this is intended or not.
If this isn't the case, just simply take a piece off, then put it back on again. Should work.0
