I’m not understanding what’s so comic to you?
If this happened to you, I would have symphony for you.

I just want my fair awards of anniversary boxes.

I know what I’m doing, I guess I should have said I’m a Vestige also.

    Thanks for understanding.

I understand how do you feel, I have a lot of symphony for you.

Well... the fact that you can get the cake XP Buff, log out before the event ends, log back in after it ends, and still have the remainder of the buff waiting, I guess it isn't unreasonable that a player would expect the same from the quests.

Buff that runs on a timer. Event that ends at a specific time. Two different systems.

Yeah, little unreasonable o expect that after an event that was officially announced to end at a specific time you would get rewards from the event that was over. Not unreasonable to expect that an experience buff that runs on a timer would last until the timer expires, even if the event ended. The timer was still running.

I don't get why everyone lalala at me?

Like you I take my gaming very serious, except I'm smart. I play games professionally. So I deserve some respect from ZOS.

I should have applied on my first post - Only respectful replies please.

    Thank you.

OP, let me quote from the Anniversary event announcement:

"It's ESO's anniversary, but during this event, everybody gets presents! Throughout the event, any daily or weekly quest you complete will earn you an Anniversary Gift Box (in addition to their regular rewards). These reward boxes contain crafting materials (ore, ingredients, runes, etc.) and a single rare crafting item (Nirncrux, style items, motif pages, etc.) Note: Gift Boxes cannot be earned by completing infinitely repeatable quests. "

    https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/26349

It was clearly stated that you had to complete the quest (ie, hand it in) during the event period. You did not do that.

As others have said, you could even pick up quests before the event started and hand them in after for a box.

ZOS doesn't owe you anything for not reading what they clearly told you.

if you are serious, umm event ends at 10am and rewards with it. doesn't matter when you picked up the quests. the fact that you could have grabbed dailies right before the event and then turned them in at the start of the event and get rewards, despite picking them up before event was active? should have been a clue right there that rewards are tied to the event duration itself and NOT when you first picked up the quests.

Well to a point it should. Since I can grab say a daily pledge. Not do it till the next day, get the rewards then get the pledge for that day and o it.

Most of the time if you pick up a "daily" quest wait till the next day to turn it in you can't then get another daily quest for that day. Kind of the same with say the Fighters Guild daily for anchors. You could do an unlimited number of these every day if you wanted to just farm the boxes. Just keep grouping and sharing the quest, even after you've completed yours for the day, and just keep getting the rewards. You shouldn't be able to do that. Once you turn in a daily it should shut it off the remainder of the day.

As I quoted above, the event rewarded boxes for *completing* a daily during the event. Not for picking it up.

Second, there is a limit of 50 daily quests per character.

Third, I think sharing daily quests and grouping for them is one of the best things ESO did. It's a lot of fun getting together and killing things on an ad-hoc basis.

and guess what. those quests OP picked up? can still be completed and OP will get REGULAR reward for completing them. anniversary boxes? are a timed BONUS.

My character sheet says I'm still using the Jester's food buff, but I am not getting any Jester rewards. I am getting Anniversary boxes instead. I eat cake, but it turns into pie after I eat it. I demand constipation for this! The anniversary boxes should transmute when opened like the food does when eaten!

So I woke up very early this morning at 2am EST and logged into ESO so I can grab my daily quests before the expiration date. I had to go to work so I completed them because I knew that was my choice and I wasn’t owed anything plus knew ahead of time when they were cutting off the event.

    True story.

THIS. Did the same thing. Got up an hour early so 3am because I KNEW that it would be over by the time I got home from work. It really wasn't that difficult. Events always start and end at midmorning. Even I know that and I haven't played hardcore for like 2 years
