I crawl the forums when bored, when not in the mood to play, during long waits in game (loading screens, rp events that drag on waiting for people to post, etc), and sometimes when i first plunk down at my machine or just wake up.

The only way it affects my gameplay is leading me to the understanding that I am absolutely garbage at this game as I cannot put out more than 10k dps on my main (a stamsorc, almost 500 CP)

Spot on. Zero impact to gaming. I read at work / toilet / commute. When I'm bored.

Sadly these days its become a frustrating place with some.strange posts. But I enjoy the genuine ones and people who help each other.

Not much, since I don't play and read/write on forums at the same time. I either do it from work during dead times (ex. waiting for a report to generate), while commuting, or while waiting for things to load in game, ex. the ~2 minutes of load screens I get when loading characters to do writs. I do find out a lot of interesting things in game while browsing the forum, but I have to pick carefully since most discussions turn out to be irrelevant, as they contain nothing related to builds, gear, rotation, tactics and generally things that help improve my gameplay. Way too many of them turn out to be just frustrated players ranting and spewing insults and BS. If I were moderator on this forum I will probably delete more than half of what players post here on those grounds and wield the ban hammer quite often.
