Sunderflame will actually be a pretty decent set in Summerset

Unlike NMG the minor breach and fracture are actually almost non existant in skill trees and very few things apply them, so it will be very useful for both stamina and magika dps.

Also now with the including of heavy attacks in most dps rotations it will be applied most of the time and the buff to its fire damage from 700 to 4000 is huge so even if another teammate has it , it will still be useful. It can be front barred and Malestrom bow on backbar.

Gonna give it a go when summerset hits

Is not as bad as the NGM nerf with regards to group play

The issue is there's no reason to take another class over a stamplar, the stamplar can use two 5piece damage sets and doesn't have to wear a support set, bringing another class with it on would have to outdps a stamplar with two 5piece damage sets on. I don't think that'll happen and it wouldn't be worth the extra 10% minor pen uptime. That being said potl is still broken so maybe it would outdps one.

Terrible Nerf, 3440 penetration was a unique debuff and far more powerful than minor fracture or minor breach. If you want to do flame damage then use Red mountain.

But is there a stamplar on everyteam?? Stamplars are not the best in dps and sustain atm

My healer takes Power of the Light for Minor debuffs specifically if there’s not already a stamplar in the group, as should any Templar healer to be honest. There’s no real benefit to running Sunder outside of procing the DK passive from burning enemies. It’s as useless as NMG.
